I don't know about you, but there's nothing I love more then monograms. When your looking for something unique and fun- monograms are definitely the way to go.
They can make the most perfect gift for a loved one now that the holiday season is upon us.
Heaven Scent is the sweetest handmade shop based in Georgia. They carry a wide variety of raglans, tees, tanks, and custom holiday sets. I love how incredibly soft and lightweight the fabric is. Oh and don't get me started on the ruffles!
Orders have a 2-3 week turnaround so make sure you give yourself enough time when placing an order for a specific event or occasion.

Kids Apps. We all have a love/hate relationship with them. The struggle finding the right amount of screen time for your little ones might seem tough.
Having a structured time out of the day to incorporate into your schedule will help keep you sane- like when your busy trying to get dinner on the table or throwing that over growing pile of laundry in the wash.
Adding educational apps into your tablet will also give you a peace of mind. Kids Academy is one of our favorites! With the structure of the montessori learning method you'll find age specific curriculum to fit each kid that will grow along with them as they learn. |Toddler-Kindergarden|
Kids Academy is frequently updated with worksheets, games, interactive books, and educational shows- the history of dinosaurs ended up being a huge hit with our kiddos since they have been on a serious dinosaur kick since this summer.

When I was younger, I didn't use face creams or moisturizers of any kind. Now that I'm getting into my late twenties, I want to start taking preventative measures.
That's why I love Biossance and their revitalizer. It's the perfect addition to my morning and night routine.
I've been using it for a few weeks now and can feel a difference in how soft my skin feels. 2-3 drops twice a day is all you need.
It's impressive biology naturally uses moisturizer from your body to give you that extra glow.
I'm not big on painting my nails and it's very rare that I step into a nail salon.
Although I do love getting my nails done, the price isn't always something I find budget friendly. I'd rather spend my extra money on coffee!
So when I'm in a rush, press on nails easily do the trick. There's no need for glue or files to get the right fit. Impress Nails have 2x longer lasting life then others.
There's enough nails in each pack, to help fit different nail shapes. I know that was one thing I normally had trouble with, finding press ons that covered each nail just right.
Nothing beats laying in a bubble bath, with a glass of wine, and a good book or a netflix movie streaming.
I like to add different epsom salts to help with everyday aches and pains. Not only do they smell heavenly, but they really seem to make a difference in relaxation.
One final thing I like to add is a clay mask. Usually once a week I apply Circ-Cell geothermal clay cleanser for 15-20 minutes in the bath. It helps clear out clogged pores and leaves you feeling refreshed.
What are some of your favorite beauty products right now?

My kids are snackers. There's no doubt about it.
As much as I incorporate fruits and veggies into meals, there are days they don't always eat as much of the good stuff as I'd like. Which is why I've started to watch more closely to what kind of snacks we pick out.
Instead of grabbing chips, we opt for granola bites or crackers from my superfoods.
It's got just the nutrients they need to keep them energized and feeling full. With flavors like chocolate chip, blueberry, and honey, I can't help but nibble on them myself.
So tell me, are your kids snackers?
I'd love to hear ways you incorporate healthy snacks into their routine.

I am a huge sucker for kids shoes. Their so tiny and cute. Always wishing they had them in my size!
Which is why my love for Freshly Picked should come as no surprise.
For those that may not be familiar with them, they make moccasins for your littles.
Whether you have a newborn, toddler, or school aged kid (ours wear a 9 and 11 in other shoes)- they have sizes to fit every stage in life.
I'd definitely recommend measuring your little ones feet before picking from their size chart. Shoes are true to size- with just the right amount of room to grow.
I've been getting so many compliments ever since these arrived on our door step.
Someone even came up to me while I was waiting inside Dunkin Donuts, asking where our moccasins were from.
I love being able to share just how great these shoes really are!
The quality. The fit. Even the durability.

Today I wanted to introduce you to one of my favorite etsy shops.
Tickle Me Pretty.
I love being able to come to this space of mine and share these incredible handmade shops, run by hard workin hustlin mommas who put their all into their products.
And I think it shows. The dedication and love poured into each piece.
Now what little girl doesn't love a Disney princess.
Right?
And we all know the saying accessories are a girl best friend. Or at least I like to think so!
You can imagine the excitement in her eyes when Adrienne saw this beauty.
There are so many styles to choose from, to pastel necklaces to pendant bracelets. I can't wait to show you how we styled this necklace with three different looks.

I'm the mom behind Loving Littles Blog. I'm from British Columbia and live here with my two littles and spouse. My son Owen who's 7 years old and my daughter Ella who's 8 months. I've started writing as a way to connect with other moms out there. I write a little bit about everything from mom life, littles, DIY and my favourite things. Mostly, its been a great way to journal the everyday life of a new mom to two littles. Enjoy!
Really!? Already!? Can't say I'm to sad summer is soon over and school is back in session. I absolutely loved having the summer off on maternity leave to spend with my littles, but mama is drained. This summer was hard work. Owen has been living the life, fun activities everyday, staying up late and sleeping in. Now comes the hard part, moulding him back into the "Back to School" routine. Each day we've been slowly getting more prepared.
For myself, I'm trying to make back to school more fun. Making it so that it doesn't feel like a chore....Nobody likes doing chores.
My son loves to shop for clothes. Can't say I blame him. We've gone out a few times just myself and him. Having mom/son dates picking out outfits and buying supplies that he likes to get more excited about going back to school!
Something Owen and I have been doing since Kindergarten is playing school. I'm his teacher and he's the student and then we switch roles were I'm the student and he's the teacher. He loves it! Then I get to see how his classroom days are set up. We have a lot of fun.
Before bed every night we make a fun bedtime snack. While doing that I've been getting him to do his lunch for the next day as well. With little help from me I find that he seems to eat more of his lunch because he packs it. It's more exciting!
The bedtime routine can be dreadful. I always make sure to give myself enough time before the actual bedtime hour. Fitting in story time, bath time and brushing their teeth. Instead of rushing bedtime, always give yourself enough time to get ready.
It's all about making it fun. As soon as we start making it a "Chore" it doesn't get them excited or eager to start. They zone out and want to run away with plugged ears. The first week or month is going to be tough to get back into the groove. You can always take steps to try and make it easier but let's face it, every morning is not going to be sunshine and rainbows. Making sure you have everything laid out the night before and giving yourself enough time in the morning to face anything unexpected, should help make getting back into it a little easier....
Today I'm kicking off the week with a guest post from the lovely Leah, from Leah With Love. She's sharing some incredible traditions to start the transition back into school.
AG will be starting MDO in just over a month. Even though she's only going a few half days a week, it's still a big deal around here. It's the first time she'll be without me for a longer period of time. I'd be lying if I told you I wasn't a nervous wreck about it. It's been just she and I everyday for the past two years.
Even though some days are long, I love our time together and absolutely adore this age (tantrums and all.) I know that starting school is important for her. I want her to get used to the structure, along with the the socialization that comes with the MDO program I signed her up for. It may take some time for her to adjust, but I know she will do great.
With that said, I've been thinking a lot about back to school family traditions I want to start. Here is the list I came up with. I may not be able to do all of them with a two year old, but as she gets older I look forward to these being our back to school family traditions.
-one-
Plan a special dinner the night before. Whether your child picks where he/she wants to go out to eat or chooses what he/she would like for dinner that night. Make the meal special either way. Sit down as a family and talk about the upcoming day. If you want to go all out, there are some really cute table decoration ideas to celebrate the start of school.
Complete a back to school interview. This would be fun to do as a family at the dinner table. There are lots of printables out there for your child to complete. Most have just a few simple questions for your child to answer. Stash the answers away in a safe place and complete the same form at the end of the year. It will be sweet to see how your child's answers change over the years. Since AG is younger and can't tell me what she wants to be when she grows up, I will be letting her color on a piece of paper. At the end of the year I'll give her the same blank piece of paper and let her go to town again. I can't wait to see how her artwork changed over a year. I plan to do this each year and make a scrapbook of the artwork/ interviews that I will give her on her graduation day.
Pick out a back to school outfit. This is something I looked forward to as a kid. We didn't have uniforms at school. My mom let me pick up some new clothes for back to school and I always wore my favorite one on the first day. If your child's school does have uniforms, let your child pick out a new hair bow, shoes, leggings, etc. It doesn't have to be something expensive. Just something new to start the new year off with and make your child feel extra special on that first day.
I made these shirts for AG. Here are the rest of the designs I have for Back to School.
Back to school breakfast. This doesn't have to be anything big. It can be a simple pancake, waffle or donut with a candle in it. Or it can be your child's favorite breakfast. You can go all out with the back to school decor or keep it simple. The key to this meal is taking time to sit down as a family if possible to enjoy breakfast before the big day. Even if that means you have to wake up extra early to get everything else ready for the day.
Take a picture. There are loads of First Day Of…. printables on Pinterest. You can find a bunch on my back to school pinterest board, found below. Take a picture of your child as he/she leaves for school holding the printable sign. This picture would be perfect to add to the scrapbook with your child's interview at the beginning of the year. Plan on taking a Last Day of… picture as well to see how much your child has grown over the year. Again, another item to add to the scrapbook.
Send a note to school in your child's lunch or snack. Again, there are some adorable free printables out there. Simply print one, leave a sweet note for your child to let him/her know they're in your thoughts. While you're at it, you can do this for your spouse as well =-)
Have a special treat ready when your child gets home. Have your child's favorite snack waiting for when he/she gets out of school or go out for ice cream. Just take time to sit down together and talk all about your child's first day.

ReplayRecyled has become a family favorite of ours recently. Making meal times so much more fun!
If you aren't already familiar with them, they make feeding sets made out of recycled milk jugs that are BPA, PVC, Phthalate free.
Not only are they durable and affordable, but you can easily find them online and at several local chains; such as Walmart.
I've been making some fun back to school meals since Adrienne's starting kindergarten next week.
Here we have a turkey sandwich- grapes- cheese wedges- sweetie pie organic wafers- double chocolate chips for dessert- and fruit shoot juice to top things off.
Here we have turkey and provolone roll ups- apple slices- tomatoes and cheese kabobbs- and some yogurt.
I love that these plates are divided, making it so much easier to keep things separated. Especially if you happen to have a picky eater!
Make sure to check back for more back to school meal ideas.

It's almost that time of year, time to say your good-byes to friends and family, pack all your items and head off to college. You're sitting there, staring at all of the items in your room, wondering what the heck you need to bring and what you should just leave at home. Well you're in luck!
Today I am sharing with you ten must-haves for college, besides the necessities like clothes and toiletries.
1. Noise-Cancelling Headphones- These will come in handy when you are studying.
2. Bed Risers- Space is limited. I would recommend raising your bed so that you can fit storage tubs/miscellaneous items under your bed.
3. Professional Clothes- You never know when you have to give a presentation or need an outfit for an interview.
4. Bed Bug Protecting Mattress- This should be self-explanatory.
5. Foam Topper- The dorm beds are not comfortable. If you want to get any type of sleep, I recommend a foam topper so your bed is more comfortable.
6. Cleaning Supplies- Again, this should be self-explanatory.
7. Extra Seating- While college is a good place to meet new people, you don't want strangers sitting on your bedding. You just never know.
8. Photos- Being away can get lonely and make you home sick, keeping updated photos of friends and family can make that a little easier.
9. Emergency Documents- You never know when an emergency may arise.
10. Winter Jacket- This only applies if you live some place where it gets cold. Walking across campus in the cold/snow is no fun. And getting sick is no fun!
If you are looking for a more detailed list, I recommend Amanda's ultimate packing list. You definitely won't forget anything with her list! To go along with all things that you have to pack for college, make sure you have all of your school supplies and you are looking good in your first day of school outfit.
Hi guys! My name is Amanda and I blog over at www.blissfulgal.com! Blissful Gal is a lifestyle blog aimed at encouraging people to live happy and healthy lifestyles. I love getting to know my readers and more bloggers so head on over and we can become friends!
With three years of college under my belt, I have learned my fair share of tough life lessons. As an incoming freshman, I did not think that there was way more to learn than academics. Boy, was I wrong. In order to make it in the real world, I believe that every college student needs to learn most of these lessons.

Hask Hair is one my newest favorite beauty products. Not only do they smell heavenly, but their free of parabens, sulfates, alcohol, and artificial colors.
When it comes to shampoo and conditioner, there's a very small list of products I like to use. In the past, the only thing that didn't leave my hair feeling greasy was Aussie.
So I was more then thrilled to give Hask Hair a try since they have several different shampoos and conditioners for different hair types.
I went with the keratin protein smoothing shampoo and conditioner, the express blow dry spray, and several different oils from around the world.
I have thick and unruly wavy hair that can be a hassle to style. So this seemed like it may be a good pick to help tame this mess!
It's safe to say I was instantly hooked. The botanical scent. A little product really went a long way. How smooth my hair felt after washing and blow drying it. I definitely recommend checking these out, which you can find online or in some local retailers like Walgreens.
