Pennsylvania Pepper.

Today marks the first time we've been featured on a blog before. So, many thanks go out to BlogTrotting for letting us share with you our amazing state of Pennsylvania!

I'm sure you've all heard the term "Everything's bigger in Texas", right? Well, I think their wrong. Mercer County is home to the world's largest shoe store, outlet mall, and candy store. & You can find the one and only original Quaker Steak & Lube which is the number one place for beer and wings.

Oh, and did I mention that the very first parachute was created in Greenville, Pa by Stephan Banic.

Now, let's get onto the fun stuff:

Since the weather's been quite crisp around here we love to scout out the best pumpkin patches and hit up our local Pumpkin Festival with a fresh homemade donut in one hand and an ice cold apple cider in the other. There sure isn't anything better then that, I tell ya.

Another great place to venture out and see is the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium (but not before we make a pit stop at the closest Five Guy's). There is so much to see, I don't know how anyone makes it through everything in just one day! So far, Adrienne has made it loud and clear she fancies the leopard tigers over my childhood favorite otters.

In another month once the weather has had time to drastically drop and create quite a few drops of snow in the air, we'll be bundling ourselves up extra tight this year and take in the annual Light Up Parade (which I was actually a part of quite a few years back). Although we won't stay long at all with our soon to be 8 1/2 month old, we sure won't miss out on some of our favorite floats and the quick appearance of Santa Claus.

Thanks so much for taking a peek inside some of our favorite destinations you'll find in good ol' Pennsylvania and hopefully walked away with some nifty facts!

See ya:)
