 A little bit about Darby, the creator behind Underground Vintage:

All of my life I have loved creating.  I crew up crafting and gained my love of sewing from my Grandma.  I was raised by parents who had a love of all things old and had many collections.  I spent my childhood going to antique shows, flea markets, junk shops, and garage sales and it comes as no surprise that I still love doing those things and am now bringing my own daughter along for the ride.  Frankly it would be shocking if I didn't have a love for old treasures.

For quite a few years I had really gotten away from crafting and it wasn't until I drug out my trusty old sewing machine to make a handmade gift for a friend that I realized how much I had missed it.  Over the next few months I was sewing like crazy and soon realized that I could turn this love of creating into a business.   It became apparent that it was time to invest in myself and make time to do something that I love.

It seems as though each new week holds exciting things for my future and I am so thankful that I have regained my sense of "craftiness" and am doing something that I love.  I am blessed to have such a wonderful group of people that continue to support me and ride along on my adventure.
