Spruce Up Your Facebook Fan Page.

Whether you've just decided to make a Facebook Fan Page for your blog/shop, have had one for quite some time now, or are considering making one but don't know where to start- look no further!

I've got some tips + tricks to help spruce up your fan page and make it more visually pleasing.

Now let's talk about your timeline cover first. Dimensions to make one of your own- 851x315.
It's best to stick with this specific dimension when creating your timeline cover so that your logo or photo's do not become distorted and stretched too thin. Nothing could be less appealing then an image that isn't properly sized.

If you aren't one to make your own timeline cover- don't fret. There are plenty of free resources out there to help get you started. Here are a few of my favorites- Paint The Moon. Beth Strong.
These are timelime cover templates that can easily be edited w/ your own photos through photoshop, picmonkey, or any other editing program you may use frequently.

Once you've got your timeline cover uploaded and saved, you'll want to add some custom tab images.
Ya know- the boxes found directly below your timeline cover that say "Photos" "# of Likes" "Blog".
Dimensions to make your own- 111x74.

I easily made mine through picmonkey in less then five minutes. [If you'd like to see a tutorial on how to make your own set- leave me a comment below letting me know!]

Once they are saved to your computer- click on the down arrow on the right hand side of your page [directly next to all of your tabs].
Now you'll have the option to hover over each tab and find the pencil icon to further edit each one.
Click on the pencil icon and select "Edit Settings".
A small box will pop up and you'll want to select "Custom Tab Image". Click "Change".
Then you'll be directed to a separate page w/ your current tab image. Hover over the tab and click "Edit". You'll have the option to choose the given image you previously saved to your computer.
Then head on back over to your page and check out your new tabs!

Wondering how to add tabs for your other social media outlets such as; Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter? WooBox will help you add any of these [and more!] tabs to your current page- just click on the tab you wanted added- "Twitter" then "Add a Twitter Tab". Fill out all of the appropriate information and save. Your Facebook Fan Page will automatically become updated.

With just a few simple tweaks here and there, your Facebook Fan Page will captivate old and new readers- which we know is exactly what you want!
